If you are a proud owner of the Tassimo hot beverage system then you have more than likely become accustomed to enjoying the quality beverages that this machine produces. In order to ensure that your Tassimo brewer continues operate to its full potential then it is important that regular maintenance is performed. One way that we can guarantee that the brewer performs at an optimum lever is to regularly descale the brewer using a Tassimo Cleaning Disc.
Over time chemicals found in water can form hard water deposits within your brewer. To prevent this the Tassimo Cleaning Disc can be used to descale your machine keeping it clean and free of hard water deposits. Lets take a look at the steps necessary to perform the descaling process of your brewer.
Step 1
In order to properly clean the hard water deposits from your machine you need to purchase descaling product. You can purchase descaling products from your local coffee and espresso machine retailer as well online. A 
product that we have used often and have had great results with is a brand called Purocafe.
Step2
Add several tea spoons of the descaling product directly into the water reservoir of your Tassimo Brewer and securely replace the reservoir back to the designated position.
Step3
Place a coffee cup underneath the brew spout open the brew head and insert the Tassimo Cleaning Disc, with the bar code facing in the downward position. Once the brew head mechanism is closed press the start button. Once the brew cycle is completed empty the cup you placed underneath the brew spout and perform the process three to four more times. Discard the remaining water in the resevoir, rinse thoroughly, and replace with clean fresh water.
Step4
Leaving the Tassimo Cleaning Disc in place run through the brew cycle 3 to 4 more times. To ensure that the descaling solution has not left behind any remaining residue is might be necessary to flush two full reservoirs of water through the system. You can accomplish this by continuing to run through the brew cycle until you have brewed enough cups to use up Two full reservoirs of water.
Step5
Now simply open the brew head mechanism and remove the cleaning disc and let the cleaning disc completely air dry for future use.
Now that your have performed the proper descaling steps utilizing the Tassimo Cleaning Disc your brewer is now free from any hard water deposits. You are now able to begin enjoying your favorite Tassimo T Disc beverage once again, .
